Affiliated with the Université de Montréal, Sainte-Justine University Hospital is the largest mother and child center in Canada. Its mission is “to improve health on the whole which constitutes a complete state of physical, mental, spiritual and social well-being of children, teenagers and mothers of Quebec in affiliation with our health care, university and research partners.” Data is powering the healthcare sector’s continuing transformation, whether for research, developing artificial intelligence, or simply for the operational management of institutions and improving the quality of patient care. In this perspective, Evolucare is proud of its innovative pilot project for its business intelligence solution conducted with the CHU Sainte-Justine. The three-month innovation project offered pediatric intensive care teams a solution allowing them to easily and efficiently access, retrieve and analyze data from electronic medical records. In just a few weeks, Evolucare’s teams were able to install and commission the solution at the university hospital. They not only configured the solution, but also prepared the data and found an intelligent way to display it in the pediatric intensive care unit’s electronic records, proving that Evolucare Analytics can be interfaced with other third-party solutions on the market. Once the pilot users were trained, they were able to work on their data and take advantage of the indicators provided by Evolucare. The users were very satisfied with Evolucare’s support throughout the project, and were very interested by how user-friendly and easy-to-use the tool was. They also noted Evolucare’s health expertise, which allowed them to fully understand the data to be analyzed. This three-month innovation project allowed CHU Sainte-Justine to continue to reflect on and better determine its needs and objectives in terms of business intelligence. For Evolucare, it allowed us to get feedback from users in the field, and to test our solution, which is already well positioned in France, in a pediatric setting in Quebec. We sincerely thank the CHU Sainte-Justine and all of the clinical, technological and support teams involved in the project for their openness, their time and their feedback Visit the CHU Sainte-Justine website
