Since September, R&D has benefited from the expertise of Ahna, a computer engineer specializing in Linux administration and DevOps. Passionate about technology and innovation, Ahna has brought a new dynamic to the DevOps team, supervised by Stéphane Leroux and composed of Alexandre Besneville and Jason Podsiadlo-Kins.
Using agile methods and technologies such as containerization to automate and standardize our R&D processes, her role helps unify the development and deployment methods of the teams in charge of each part. This makes everyone’s daily work easier by reducing manual interventions through automation.
Ahna has already successfully taken on the challenge of integrating tools such as Docker and Ansible into our projects, significantly improving the maintenance and production of our applications. Her contribution doesn’t stop there; she is also involved in researching and testing new technologies, always on the lookout for the latest innovations to keep Evolucare at the cutting edge of technology.
On a daily basis, Ahna works closely with the R&D and deployment teams, actively participating in daily scrums and promoting fluid communication within the team. Her biggest personal challenges have been quickly getting to grips with our environment and tools, as well as dockerizing some of our key applications, such as Imago DU, a project she is leading with great success.
Outside of work, Ahna is passionate about sports, mountains, and nature. She lives in Haute-Savoie, where she can enjoy her favorite activities, such as hiking and skiing. She applies this passion for sports to her work, allowing her to manage stress and stay focused on her goals.
