In a company such as Evolucare, the cross-functional areas – which can be likened to the back-office, with the exception of sales – form the foundation on which the whole structure rests. In addition to the areas described on this page, these functions also include quality and customer service, which are described on their own dedicated pages.
Every day, forming an essential part of the backbone of our Group, the employees of each of these functions strive to bring our values to life: loyalty, commitment, respect, excellence and innovation. Every day, they enable Evolucare to progress, to grow and to participate in the transformation of our healthcare system.
Finance and Legal
For this division, our teams are responsible for :
- Steering financial policy and accounting,
- handling administrative and financial obligations related to projects and contracts,
- regulatory compliance and legal watch.
These functions are particularly strategic, mainly in two respects: on the one hand, the Group’s dynamic external growth calls for great rigor in the integration of the companies that join us, so that each operation is a success both for the company and for the teams of these companies, as well as for their customers. Secondly, because we operate in a sensitive sector where legal requirements and developments are numerous.
Our human resources department is a key element in a group that is constantly growing – both organically and externally – and that addresses multiple markets (in terms of both business lines and geography). Its teams are responsible for managing staff administrative files, recruiting experts, implementing the company’s HR policy and ensuring that employees are motivated and efficient.
Responsible for managing employees’ careers, training and skills development, the HR department also plays an important role in establishing a strong corporate culture and promoting equal opportunities and diversity.
In addition, the HR department is a key partner for the company’s other departments, particularly when it comes to external growth operations: it helps integrate new employees, and harmonizes HR policies between the different branches.
Communication & Marketing
Communicating in the healthcare sector means striking a balance between the need for promotion and respect for the ethics of the sector, its customs and regulations (for example, in the case of medical devices). At the heart of everything we do are the patients, users and residents our customers look after on a daily basis. The communications department has to speak to everyone: outwardly to prospects and customers, institutions and investors, and inwardly to our teams, so that everyone shares the same vision of our brand and benefits from an optimal level of information.
In terms of marketing, Evolucare is organized into Product Marketing Departments. Their role is to constantly monitor and identify the evolving needs of the e-health sector. Marketing is at the crossroads of R&D and communication: the role of the former is to give reality to the technical and functional needs identified by Marketing, while the latter is to communicate the value propositions developed in this way, accurately and sincerely.
The sales teams are made up of several types of functions: sales engineers in charge of customer projects and public procurement, pre-sales engineers / product experts, but also telemarketing teams (see interview)…
When a project is identified, the sales teams identify and formalize the needs expressed, and draw up the appropriate offers and financial proposals. The world of e-health requires a detailed understanding of the businesses involved, in the many fields addressed by Evolucare.
With a continuous presence since 1986, Evolucare’s sales function benefits from a high level of expertise, enabling each establishment and each healthcare professional to find a contact who will speak the same language and embrace each of their challenges, in order to propose an appropriate solution.
The Evolucare Group has two teams dedicated to IT infrastructures.
The internal IT team is responsible for the smooth running, monitoring and development of the Group’s internal infrastructures. Servers, databases, foundation software, workstations, printers, networks, communications, cybersecurity… the subject is wide-ranging, and the expertise involved is varied and demanding. Our Group has a wide range of geographical locations and is growing at the same pace as its acquisitions: all factors that require us to be rigorous and efficient in our technological and human approaches to IT.
Our customer IT team guarantees the highest level of service for the smooth day-to-day operation of our solutions, whatever the architecture in place: on-premise (on-premise IS) or SaaS (Solution as a Service, a.k.a cloud). Our ISO 9001, 27001 and HDS (Healthcare Data Hosting) certifications require us to maintain a faultless level of security, which calls for passionate engineers and technicians with cutting-edge skills!
