DU

Harmonized support for all populations, driven by a modular and scalable solution.

A need for harmonization and modernization

Before the deployment of Imago DU, the association’s establishments were heterogeneously equipped, with some still operating on paper. “There was a strong desire to harmonize tools between establishments and to simplify the management of user data to improve the quality of support,” emphasizes Julien Baslé, the association’s General Director.

Based in the Nantes region since 1958, the “L’Etape” association supports more than 1,250 vulnerable people thanks to its 250 professionals. Organized into 4 establishments and 3 main areas of intervention, it works in the fields of child protection (PDE), social integration (AHI), and psychological disability, notably through an ESAT (Establishment and Service for Aid through Work) and a residential center.

The choice of a global, modular, and integrated solution

Several criteria guided the choice of the DUI (Single User File) solution: ergonomics, compliance with regulatory requirements (GDPR, Ségur), adaptability to different sectors of activity (PDE, AHI, PH), and interoperability with existing solutions such as Gessi and Imago RH. “Integration with Imago RH and Gessi was decisive. We needed a solution that covered the entire scope of management: HR, administrative, support,” explains Mr. Baslé.tage : RH, administratif, accompagnement” explique M. Baslé.

A co-constructed solution to meet the feld realities of the PDE and AHI sectors

Designed with a continuous improvement mindset, the Imago DU solution is evolving to better meet the realities on the ground, particularly in the fields of child protection and social inclusion. “The household-based approach, although still under development, addresses a real need identified in the field. The tool’s level of customization is a real asset for adapting our practices,” explains Mr. Baslé.
He also emphasizes that the success of change management largely depends on internal co-construction processes: early involvement of professionals, ongoing dialogue, cross-functional engagement of administrative staff, social workers, psychologists and managers, as well as the creation of two key positions — a DUI project deployment officer and a technical manager.

A progressive and participative deployment

The project relies on pilot sites, upstream preparation with audits and pre-audits, and a steering committee integrating internal teams and Evolucare contacts. A full-time project manager was recruited to oversee the implementation, guaranteeing optimal support.

“The tool must remain a support for quality work, not a constraint. Team appropriation is already very positive.”

Support driven by responsiveness and expertise

Julien Baslé acknowledges the commitment and availability of Richard Budoc, Evolucare’s project manager. “Mr. Budoc is very responsive, particularly in following up on email exchanges, and provides clear and effective answers to our requests.” He adds that some training sessions revealed the need to adjust content, in line with the diversity of roles and expectations in the field. This phase of skill development is fully aligned with a continuous improvement approach, shared by both the association’s teams and those of Evolucare.

Towards enhanced steering with evolucare analytics

Eagerly awaited, the Analytics module will allow administrative functions to better manage activity, particularly within the framework of the ESMS Numérique program. “We have to produce our activity report in 2026. Analytics will help us by simplifying access to key data.”

Field use perspectives with Imago Mobile

The association is closely following the deployment of Imago Mobile, particularly for its field use capabilities. The application will soon allow educators to enter data in real-time, even in low-connectivity situations.

The digital transformation of the L’Etape association is part of a long-term vision where technology and humanism move forward together. The project led by Evolucare is a perfect example of the #Pact4all spirit: a facilitator for professionals, a guarantor of continuity of care, adapted to local contexts, and built around the voice of the users.
