Doctreen & Evolucare: towards faster and more secure structured radiology reports
At the heart of the 2025 Francophone Radiology Days (JFR), Evolucare presented a new demonstration illustrating the openness and richness of its medical imaging ecosystem.
This year, Doctreen Radiology joined the adventure, with an innovative integration allowing structured reports to be written directly from Evolucare Imaging.
Seamless integration with Evolucare Imaging
In its current version, Doctreen automatically transmits the technical indication, report body and conclusion fields to the RIS.
The data is directly available in Evolucare Imaging, eliminating double entries and reducing the risk of errors.
🎙️ « With just one click, everything is set up. It is one of the simplest integrations we have tested, and radiologists immediately benefit from improved workflow. »
— François Millot
LPhase 2 of RIS Evolucare, scheduled for 2026, will take things even further, with Doctreen reports being sent in full to the DMP (french national Shared Medical Record) and connected prescription tools.
The aim is to ensure complete continuity of radiological information, from prescription to diagnosis.
Time savings and enhanced reading quality
The benefit of this integration is twofold..
On the one hand, radiologists benefit from considerable time savings thanks to automated structuring and intelligent assistance during data entry.
On the other hand, the corresponding doctor — whether a general practitioner or a specialist — receives a clearer, more readable and more consistent report.
By standardising report formats, Evolucare and Doctreen are contributing to better coordination of care, a key issue in digital health.
Shared innovation and common vision
Beyond technical integration, this partnership illustrates the shared philosophy of both parties:
- Simplify the daily lives of professionals with user-focused tools.
- Enhance the reliability of data exchanged between healthcare providers.
- Promote controlled, pragmatic innovation without technological excess.
François Millot le résume ainsi :
« Doctreen fits naturally into our open platform approach. This type of partnership enhances the perceived value of our RIS, making the user experience more fluid, reliable and innovative. »
This synergy draws on the strength of the collective and the involvement of partners recognised for their expertise in the field. Together, Evolucare and Doctreen are building a shared vision of medical imaging: more integrated, more accessible and more human.
Outlook: Focus on interoperability and compliance
The next steps aim to further strengthen collaboration around two priorities:
- Interoperability, with in-depth technical integration to meet the requirements for secure health data sharing;
- Regulatory compliance, ensuring that features comply with current standards and certifications.
This partnership perfectly illustrates the Evolucare Pact4all approach, which emphasises co-constructed, responsible and interoperable innovations that promote more inclusive digital healthcare.
With Doctreen, Evolucare confirms its desire to open up its ecosystem to French and European players offering concrete and useful innovations.
The promise is clear: to simplify the daily lives of radiologists and improve the quality of diagnosis through structured, fluid and interoperable information.
