At french SFAR 2025, Evolucare reaffirms its vision of digital health at the service of caregivers and patients through its strategy centred on the SAVE range, dedicated to critical care. This software suite continues to evolve in four key areas: module unification, AI integration, functional expansion and business partnerships.
Interview with François Potevin, Marketing Director of the Critical Care division, who shares Evolucare’s priorities in the context of digital transformation in hospitals.
A software suite designed for a smooth patient journey
Evolucare Save covers the entire perioperative pathway through three complementary modules:
- Evolucare OpRoom for operating theatre management
- Evolucare Anesthesia for anaesthesia consultation and monitoring
- Evolucare Intensive+ for resuscitation and intensive care services
For the past two years, the focus has been on harmonising interfaces and user journeys, with unified ergonomics and redesigned workflows to reduce double data entry.
The aim of this approach is to eventually create a single, centralised database that will enable patients to be monitored without any gaps in information throughout their surgical and post-operative journey.
Artificial intelligence at the service of good clinical practice
Artificial intelligence is transforming critical care practices. Evolucare is gradually integrating intelligent features into the SAVE range, with an approach focused on professional practices and scientific recommendations.
A concrete example is already in use in anaesthesia consultations, where a module automatically suggests the recommended prophylactic antibiotic treatments, in line with SFAR guidelines.
« The challenge is to make practices more reliable and save anaesthetists time by providing them with the most relevant recommendations, tailored to the patient’s situation. », explains François Potevin.
Other developments are underway, particularly in terms of improving documentation, with tools that enable essential clinical information to be reported in order to facilitate decision-making and traceability.
A dynamic partnership strategy
Innovation at Evolucare also involves openness to expert partners, in order to enhance business functionalities without complicating usage.

MEMOQUEST, an intelligent chatbot for remote surgical monitoring.
The partnership with Calmedica enables the integration of memoQuest, a conversational SMS bot for pre- and post-operative remote monitoring.
This module automates reminder notifications, cancellation detection, and satisfaction surveys, while freeing up nursing staff time.

Praxy Consultation, an AI assistant that summarises and analyses consultations.
Praxy’s AI technology automatically structures a report based on the exchange between the anaesthetist and their patient.
This saves practitioners valuable time and improves traceability.

AI that automatically transcribes patient prescriptions without manual input.
POSOS offers prescription recognition and analysis technology based on artificial intelligence. In practical terms, the tool scans a paper prescription and extracts key information in just a few seconds.
The collaboration with POSOS illustrates Evolucare’s desire to strengthen the business intelligence of its tools while keeping the end user at the centre of the design process.

HEKO, a pre-anaesthesia questionnaire in the form of a chatbot
BOTdesign specialises in intelligent virtual assistants for healthcare. Thanks to this partnership, its conversational solutions are integrated into the Evolucare Save suite to automate patient preparation and follow-up, particularly in outpatient surgery.
This collaboration illustrates our shared commitment to simplifying the daily lives of healthcare professionals, improving the patient experience and optimising care pathways.
A functional extension closely aligned with practices
Evolucare Save continues to expand to meet the specific needs of institutions. Several new modules are currently being designed or developed:
- Neonatal intensive care, with tailored protocols
- Maternity anaesthesia module, with integrated partogram
- Extension to surgical emergencies, to track the patient’s journey from the moment they arrive
These developments are co-created with users, with a focus on proximity to the field and professional excellence.
A strategy focused on the field and people
With the SAVE range, Evolucare has a clear ambition: to provide healthcare establishments with reliable, scalable tools that are focused on the real-world needs of healthcare professionals. The aim is to make their daily work easier, enhance the safety of care pathways and improve the patient experience at every stage of the surgical process.
« SAVE is much more than a product. It is a concrete response to the expectations of teams in the field, a solution that evolves with them, for them, and always for the benefit of the patient » – François Potevin.
