Founded in 1981, the L’Ébène association operates across a wide range of social care services in French Guiana, providing support for people with disabilities and the elderly, child protection, integration and social support. Today, it manages dozens of establishments and services, mobilising nearly 400 full-time equivalents to serve more than 1,000 people.
This diversity of activities and audiences places high demands on financial management, human resources management and regulatory compliance.
Gessi, the foundation of administrative and financial management
To structure its organisation, L’Ébène relied on Gessi, an administrative and financial management solution. General and analytical accounting, provisional budget, administrative account, payroll, invoicing: all financial processes are centralised within a single tool, shared by the teams concerned.

To complement this financial foundation, L’Ébène has begun rolling out Imago HR and Imago Planning, which interface natively with Gessi. Objectives: to make HR processes more reliable, streamline schedule management and automate payroll flows. The aim is to secure HR processes, make data more reliable and streamline schedule organisation in a multi-site context.
Imago HR allows you to centralise employee data, ensure the reliability of variable elements and automate payroll flows.
Imago Planning facilitates schedule management, regulatory compliance and coordination between field teams and support functions.
The benefits are quickly apparent: reduced processing times, fewer errors, better anticipation of needs and increased accountability for local managers. “Payroll processing, which used to take several days, can now be completed much more quickly,” says Delphine Alais.
