Pierre Mortelette, passionate about new technologies… and mountain biking!
In the current regulatory environment for digital health and with the growth of our solutions for the medical and social services sector, you need to be strong and keep a cool head to meet all these challenges. Pierre Mortelette, a real daredevil on a downhill mountain bike and passionate about new technologies, rose to the challenge by taking on the role of project coordinator in 2022.
With a background in IT specializing in application development at EPSI in Arras, Pierre took his first professional steps in development at CGI working on web applications for ANCV. He then joined the Evolucare Group in 2021 as an integration technician to strengthen the 2IC team, which was already preparing for the tidal wave of the Ségur healthcare reform. Pierre quickly demonstrated his technical skills and ability to adapt, particularly in DPI, pharmacy, and PMSI solutions. His knowledge of our products enabled him to be quickly assigned to cross-functional interoperability (administrative connectivity, biological connectors, medical prescription integration), which is essential in this context.
His career took a significant turn in October 2022 when he moved from integration technician to project coordinator. In concrete terms, he is now responsible for the technical deployment of our clients’ medical and social solutions, such as the Imago and Gessi suites.
This transition to the position of project coordinator was not insignificant. Faced with increased demand for Ségur projects, particularly in the medical-social sector, management wanted to restructure and optimize the tasks of the technical deployment teams. The management team therefore created the position of project coordinator. These coordinators have a clearly defined role: to oversee installations, optimize the efficiency of the department’s actions, and improve service quality and, ultimately, customer satisfaction. With his technical expertise and ability to manage complex installations, Pierre was the ideal candidate for the role!
Beyond his individual skills, it was his ability to work as part of a team that was key to his success. He has been able to collaborate with the 2IC team as well as with the R&D, IT, and deployment teams to respond to issues and share successes. This new role and these new responsibilities have been constructive because they have enabled him, together with the rest of the team, to improve the working environment by optimizing communication and promoting mutual support and good morale. Pierre has demonstrated that with solid skills, the ability to keep a cool head in the most complex situations, and a desire to excel, even the most daunting challenges can be turned into opportunities for growth and learning. His ability to build strong relationships with his colleagues and promote effective communication between teams has been a major asset in the success of his assignments!
