Hadi, Head of Africa and the Middle East, but also a globetrotting musician!
Inspired by musicians such as Marcel Mule and Charlie Parker, Hadi plays the saxophone and enjoys classical and contemporary music. He joined us 10 years ago with the aim of developing his sales skills in the medical IT sector, with an international focus.
With degrees in biomedical engineering and electronics, Hadi began his career in RIS-PACS before becoming an application engineer specializing in laboratory information systems. In 2013, he naturally became familiar with the Group’s products and took on the role of technical sales representative, combining the roles of functional/technical expert and sales representative.
Hadi has traveled the globe and gained experience that has enabled him to develop a strategic vision for leading Evolucare into international markets, particularly in Africa. This analysis was essential in preparing our products and adapting our projects: “We had to take into account several factors, such as the context of the country and the needs of the target structures. Our internal organization and available resources also had to be included in this analysis,” explains Hadi.
The first real projects began in Lebanon and Africa with the HCA in Algiers, the Mother and Child Hospital in Bingerville, the Farah Polyclinic in Côte d’Ivoire, and the La Cathédrale Clinic in Cameroon. With the help of our local partners, ALTEA and Glem Solutions, Hadi was able to develop an Evolucare showcase on the continent and thus pursue other projects throughout Central and West Africa, the Maghreb, and soon in the Middle East.
“Now, my role is no longer limited to sales! With the internal teams, we work in project mode to develop our offering in the target countries while relying on our local partners,” he concludes.
How did international prospecting begin?
The creation of the Evolucare Group in 2010 enabled us to integrate new critical care and medical imaging solutions into our offering.
These new multilingual products have opened up new prospects for business development, particularly internationally: market studies have been carried out in various regions such as Asia, North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Our offering for international markets has expanded further, notably with the arrival of the HopitalWeb modular EPR in 2019. This addition has strengthened our visibility on the African continent, with Hadi leading the way!
