Now a communications officer at Evolucare, this was not the career Alice had originally planned for herself.

The story of a successful career change!

Bringing people together through communication, creating connections between them, fostering team spirit. That’s what gives meaning to my work.
Alice VERBEKE

In January 2019, Alice began an internship at Evolucare in the communications department. The aim was to validate her training in communications. However, she already held a master’s degree in “administration and socio-economic expertise” and had worked as an intern at the Picardy Regional Health Agency (ARS), where she gained experience in the administrative side of healthcare.

“What interested me was working in the healthcare sector. I had several family members working in healthcare, including a pharmacist, an optician, and even someone in health insurance. Many of these topics came up frequently,” explains Alice.

But fate had other plans, as the job market made it difficult for her to find work in her field. She turned to a career counselor who, based on her skills and natural inclinations, suggested she try communications. That marked the beginning of her career change and her encounter with Evolucare.

The internship was a success for everyone, and Alice is now working as a communications officer within the group. She is primarily responsible for event planning, but to keep things interesting and maintain her versatility, she also participates in other departmental activities, including internal and external communications plans, publications across all channels, and our internal newsletter.
