Evolucare, a committed partner for sustainable data protection
In an increasingly digitalised healthcare sector, cyber threats are on the rise. For healthcare establishments, guaranteeing the security of patient data while complying with new regulatory requirements is becoming a major challenge.
At Evolucare, this commitment is at the heart of our mission. On the occasion of SANTEXPO 2025, we wanted to highlight our vision and expertise in cybersecurity, notably through an exchange with Lauranne Peyron, Head of Information Systems Security.
Cybersecurity: critical issues for healthcare establishments
Healthcare establishments have become prime targets for cyberattacks. Hospitals paralysed, data leaks, ransom demands… the threats are real and their impact is often serious. In this context, Evolucare places cybersecurity at the heart of its commitment.
ISO 27001 and HDS: certifications that inspire confidence
The transition to the new versions of ISO 27001 and HDS (healthcare data hosting) certification was one of Evolucare’s major projects for 2024-2025. These standards make it possible to structure and strengthen information security governance.
For customers, this means:
✔️ greater transparency,
✔️ clarified contractual commitments,
✔️ 100% sovereign hosting in France,
✔️ a high level of protection and compliance.
‘We have always had a point of contact for cybersecurity with our customers, but the new HDS requirements are pushing us to formalise our support even more, in a spirit of trust and transparency,’ explains Lauranne Peyron.
NIS 2 Directive: anticipate to protect better
Although the NIS 2 directive has not yet been transposed into French law, Evolucare is not waiting around.
Our teams are already analysing the upcoming obligations, in order to anticipate their implementation with responsiveness.
‘The aim is to be ready even before the decrees are published. We don’t want to be subjected to the changes but to turn them into an opportunity to strengthen our security posture, for the benefit of our customers.’
AI: an asset, but also a challenge
Artificial intelligence is now an integral part of digital environments. But its use raises critical cybersecurity issues.
At Evolucare, we support our employees in the controlled use of these tools: internal charters, webinars, best practices, everything is done to ensure responsible and secure AI.
‘AI can also be used by attackers,’ warns Lauranne Peyron. ’It is crucial to understand the risks, to raise awareness, and to keep control over the analysis and use of these technologies.’
Software solutions: native and customisable security
Our WebHospital platform is a perfect illustration of this approach. Integration of strong authentication, data encryption, management of access profiles, etc. Each application brick is designed to adapt to the security policies of the establishments.
At Evolucare, cybersecurity is not an option, but a daily commitment.
Anticipating standards, securing health data, supporting professionals… these are all tasks that we carry out with rigour and commitment.
