WEBHOSPITAL

At Evolucare, artificial intelligence is not developed in the laboratory. It is developed in the field, with healthcare professionals, to meet real needs. In our WebHospital electronic patient record, we have opted for AI that is controlled, useful and fully integrated into the way it is used.

A clear vision: saving time, improving quality, making care safer

For Cédric Missonnier, CARE Product Marketing Director, artificial intelligence is not a goal in itself. It’s a means. It’s a means of boosting the efficiency of medical teams, enabling them to concentrate on patient care and simplifying their day-to-day work.

In a hospital environment subject to severe organisational and regulatory constraints, this promise makes all the difference. Saving time on data entry, streamlining documentation and making data more reliable: these are just some of the challenges addressed by our AI strategy in WebHospital.

Three use cases identified in the field

Rather than multiplying generic functionalities, Evolucare has opted for targeted AI, responding to specific expectations expressed by the users themselves. Three priority use cases have thus emerged:

📝 1. Assistance with daily observations

Many professionals find it difficult to formalise their observations, whether for lack of time, writing skills or confidence. AI makes it possible to :

  • generate clear, structured text from a few key words,
  • improve the syntactic and spelling quality of content,
  • facilitate the expression of all team members, whatever their profile.

« Many people may have difficulties with syntax or spelling. The idea is to enable them to grasp the information without feeling held back or frustrated. »

📄 2. Automation of liaison letters and operative reports

These mandatory documents, particularly under the Ségur programme, are time-consuming and often redundant. Thanks to AI :

  • data already entered in the DPI is automatically transferred,
  • documents are generated in a fluid, structured way,
  • the professional can reread and validate without spending excessive time rewording.

🔄 3. Intelligent content generation from existing data

Instead of re-entering information, users benefit from pre-filled content, generated by AI from the patient’s clinical data. The result is continuity of information, fewer errors and more time for care.

One method: start with usage, not technology

Cédric Missonnier insists that the success of an AI project depends first and foremost on its business relevance.

At Evolucare, use cases are defined in direct collaboration with the establishments. It is their priorities that guide our developments, to ensure that our tools are truly adopted in the field.

« AI holds out a lot of promise. But the important thing is to start from the user’s needs and translate them into functionality.»

Tangible benefits for schools

The feedback we received from customers at SANTEXPO 2025 was very positive. Professionals appreciate :

  • the ease of use of AI functions,
  • the time savings that can be seen right from the start,
  • the relevance of automatically generated content.

These results validate our approach: AI that doesn’t complicate, but simplifies. AI that remains at the service of humans.

Reasoned and responsible deployment

One of the major issues surrounding AI remains its implementation. Too many solutions remain in the prototype stage or require heavy technical investment. At Evolucare, we have chosen the path of simple integration and responsibility.

« These technologies can be complex to deploy and use on a day-to-day basis. We need to offer solutions that are light, fluid and effective in their real-life environment. »

WebHospital’s AI functions are natively integrated, accessible without extensive training, and designed to be operational from day one.

Towards new use cases? Co-constructing tomorrow’s AI

Far from being a fixed project, our approach is evolving. We continue to work with our hospital partners to identify new opportunities, always based on the same principles: usefulness, simplicity and transparency.

Because while artificial intelligence may be the stuff of dreams, it’s in the small, day-to-day gains that it shows its true worth.

Conclusion

With WebHospital, Evolucare is offering artificial intelligence with a human face: concrete, useful, co-constructed with healthcare professionals. It is not there to replace, but to assist. Not to automate at all costs, but to refocus care on people.
And that is perhaps its greatest strength.
