WEBHOSPITAL

A trend driven by the confidence of educational institutions

Since January 2026, WebHospital, Evolucare’s electronic patient record (EPR), has been rolling out across French healthcare facilities. Psychiatric (PSY) facilities, medical and rehabilitation (SMR) centres, and day hospitals: the diversity of the patient profiles served demonstrates WebHospital’s ability to meet the needs of organisations with very different structures, whether they are small specialist units or larger hospital groups.

To date, seventy healthcare organisations have placed their trust in HopitalWeb since the start of the year. This figure reflects both the acquisition of new clients and the confidence shown by organisations that have historically used Evolucare’s Osiris EPR and are now choosing to modernise their information systems. This momentum confirms HopitalWeb’s position within an EPR market that is now largely established and has entered a phase of renewal, in which healthcare organisations regularly reassess whether their information systems meet their operational needs.

An information system that must keep pace with changing patterns of use

The expectations of healthcare teams are changing: ergonomics, interoperability with other components of the information system, mobility, advanced features and long-term support. An EPR is no longer just a data-entry tool: it is the backbone of healthcare organisation. For many organisations, these developments raise the question of when is the right time to replace their electronic patient record system with a solution better suited to current needs.

It is this line of thinking that is now prompting around fifteen healthcare organisations that have historically used Osiris to take the plunge and migrate to WebHospital, alongside organisations that are choosing to replace their current solution with WebHospital. In both cases, the decision is based on similar criteria: a solution capable of adapting to the specific structures of healthcare organisations, robust support during deployment, and a clear long-term product roadmap.

The solution: WebHospital, an EPR designed to cover the entire patient journey

WebHospital covers all the operational needs of a healthcare facility: patient records, scheduling, medication management, and interoperability with other components of the information system (imaging, laboratory, billing, etc.). Its modular design allows for precise adaptation to specific healthcare organisations, whether in medicine, surgery and obstetrics (MCO), medical care and rehabilitation (SMR) or psychiatry (PSY), with each area having its own care pathways and regulatory requirements.

Beyond the tool itself, it is the deployment support that makes the difference for organisations migrating from Osiris or replacing their current solution: data migration, staff training, configuration tailored to existing organisations, and post-deployment support to ensure a smooth transition. This support continues beyond the go-live phase, with long-term monitoring designed to support evolving usage patterns within the organisation.

A wide variety of organisational profiles, challenges specific to each organisation, and a shared need for long-term support – these are the factors our teams encounter in every project, regardless of the sector involved.

Our involvement does not end with the go-live. We continue to support the teams in the weeks and months following deployment, adjusting the settings to reflect actual usage and ensuring that healthcare teams adopt the tool on a long-term basis.

  • Gauthier Frandon
A recurring theme in our discussions with healthcare organisations is the search for a tried-and-tested solution capable of supporting them over the long term. This trend confirms that WebHospital has now established itself as a solid benchmark in its market.
