At SantExpo 2026, Evolucare welcomed representatives from Emmaüs Solidarité to its stand R46 to discuss a landmark digital transformation project being carried out using the Evolucare Imago DU solution.

Alongside Guillaume Marrucho, project manager, and Joris Sowka, IT manager and lead for the DUI project, the Evolucare teams looked back on a collaboration that began in 2025, based on a co-development approach addressing the specific challenges of the Accommodation, Shelter and Integration (AHI) sector.

Led by Sophie Lascombe, Deputy Chief Executive of Emmaüs Solidarité, this project aims to support the modernisation of professional practices and to develop a digital client record system capable of addressing the complex realities of the social sector.

Beyond the organisation’s own needs, this collaborative initiative is now helping to develop Imago DU for all stakeholders in the AHI sector.

The AHI sector is committed to its digital transformation

LThe Reception, Accommodation and Integration sector is currently facing major challenges relating to digital transformation. Organisations must support what are often complex pathways, involving multiple stakeholders, accommodation arrangements and administrative procedures.

In this context, professionals must balance:

  • the continuity of support;
  • the security and centralisation of information;
  • the regulatory requirements of the Ségur du numérique;
  • the management of operations;
  • the minimisation of duplicate data entry;
  • coordination between tools and institutional partners.

Organisations in the AHI sector must also manage specific situations: supporting households, families or couples; monitoring housing applications; managing accommodation capacity; and dealing with administrative cases that are sometimes incomplete.

It is against this backdrop that Emmaüs Solidarité has embarked on its digital transformation project with Evolucare.

A strategic project built around the realities on the ground

Avant le lancement du projet, Emmaüs Solidarité s’appuyait principalement sur des outils papier et des in-house developed office software. As part of its ‘Ségur du numérique’ initiative, the organisation has undertaken a review of the solutions available on the market to identify a user interface capable of meeting its business needs.

From the project’s launch in June 2025, the teams at Emmaüs Solidarité and Evolucare have been working collaboratively on:

  • business audits;
  • functional workshops;
  • prototypes;
  • discussions with frontline staff;
  • adjustments incorporated into the product roadmap.

On the Evolucare side, the project is led by the deployment, product and R&D teams, with the aim of delivering improvements that can be shared across the entire AHI social sector.

This co-development approach is now one of the cornerstones of the partnership.

    Imago DU quickly caught the teams’ attention. “Imago already met nearly 80 per cent of the identified needs. But what proved decisive was Evolucare’s ability to immediately grasp the challenges involved in the co-creation process required by the AHI sector.”

Developing Imago DU to meet the specific needs of the AHI sector

The work carried out with Emmaüs Solidarité has helped to enhance several key functional areas for AHI organisations.

Strengthened household management

LThe AHI sector requires us to take into account complex support situations involving families, couples or individuals living alone.

The project has led to developments in Imago DU centred on:

  • household management;
  • case managers;
  • full or partial entitlements;
  • administrative follow-ups;
  • associated social support procedures.

These developments now make it possible to integrate collective support measures linked to multipleeurs membres d’un même ménage.

In-depth monitoring of support for finding accommodation

One of the main areas of collaborative development concerns the tracking of social housing applications and support for rehousing.

Imago DU now enables users to:

  • track social housing applications;
  • manage renewals;
  • track housing offers;
  • monitor available financial assistance;
  • centralise administrative documents;
  • incorporate priority levels based on social circumstances.

Appropriate management of accommodation and housing

Features relating to housing have also been enhanced to meet the operational requirements of AHI organisations:

  • management of accommodation and rooms;
  • availability tracking;
  • accommodation capacity;
  • occupancy management;
  • characteristics of adapted accommodation;
  • tracking of allocated tenants and fees.

A solution that has already been widely adopted by teams in the field

Following an initial roll-out phase at the pilot sites, the initial user feedback has been very positive.

To date:

  • 21 teams have been trained;
  • nearly 100 professionals are already using Imago DU;
  • more than 1,300 people receiving support / active cases are being monitored via the platform.

The overall objective of the project is to eventually achieve:

  • 72 schemes rolled out;
  • more than 600 staff members involved;
  • up to 9,000 people receiving support.

The teams quickly took to the solution. Today, files are updated daily and all features are being used: logbook, personalised projects, social support, accommodation and scheduling. Joris Sowka

Imago DU’s user-friendly design and business-specific configuration have also made it easier to support professionals through the change process, regardless of their level of digital maturity.

Among the features that are already particularly well-received are:

  • personalised projects;
  • the logbook;
  • multidisciplinary monitoring;
  • detailed management of user rights;
  • scheduling;
  • management tools.

Analytics: better management of operations and support services

Alongside the DUI, Emmaüs Solidarité is also preparing to roll out Evolucare Analytics to improve the management of its operations.

The teams are currently working on developing dedicated dashboards for:

  • monitoring programmes;
  • CPOM indicators;
  • national cost studies;
  • monitoring personalised projects;
  • and indicators of file completeness.

     The aim is to enable teams to access reliable information quickly so that they can prioritise their work and monitor the cases they are supporting on a day-to-day basis.

Beyond the digital user file, the management capabilities offered by Evolucare Analytics were also a key factor in the choice of solution.

For Emmaüs Solidarité, the challenge was to have tools capable not only of centralising support data, but also of producing reliable indicators for monitoring activity, managing support schemes and meeting the regulatory obligations of the AHI sector.

The ability to create customised dashboards, monitor bespoke projects, analyse activity data objectively and respond more quickly to requests from funding bodies represents a significant advantage for the operational teamsationnelles comme pour les fonctions de pilotage.

Shaping the future through the integration of SI and SIAO

The partnership between Emmaüs Solidarité and Evolucare is also part of a wider discussion on the interoperability of information systems in the social sector.

Among the upcoming projects identified is the integration with the SI-SIAO system, with a view to streamlining admissions, avoiding duplicate data entry and improving the monitoring of referrals.

This development represents a major challenge for AHI organisations in the context of the requirements set out in the Ségur du numérique.

The SI-SIAO (Integrated Reception and Referral Service) plays a central role in the referral and monitoring of people receiving support within the AHI sector.

The future integration between Imago DU and the SI-SIAO aims to:

  • simplify admissions;
  • streamline the exchange of information;
  • reduce the need for re-entry of data;
  • improve the monitoring of support pathways.

This initiative forms part of the national drive to modernise the social sector, led by the State.

A key partnership for the development of Imago DU in the social sector

For Evolucare, the project carried out with Emmaüs Solidarité represents a significant milestone in the development of Imago DU within the social AHI market.

Faced with the challenges of digital transformation in the AHI sector, Emmaüs Solidarité was also seeking a partner capable of providing a sustainable and structured vision for its information system.

Beyond the functional scope of Imago DU, the strength of the Evolucare Group, its capacity for investment in R&D, its project support and its commitment to meeting the requirements of the Ségur du numérique were key factors in the choice of solution.

In particular, the organisation was keen to ensure that Evolucare had the capacity to support a large-scale project, to incorporate the specific operational needs of the field into its product roadmap, and to guarantee a high level of interoperability and data security.

This approach, combining sector-specific expertise, change management support and continuous development of the solution, now ensures that the project is part of a sustainable, long-term strategy serving the entire AHI social sector.

  • The Emmaüs Solidarité project perfectly illustrates our commitment to developing Imago DU in collaboration with practitioners in the field. The features developed as part of this co-creation process are designed to benefit the entire AHI sector.
    Damien Lévêque
    Head of Social Care Product Marketing at Evolucare

Over the coming months, we will be able to build on this collaborative momentum as we gradually scale up the roll-out, integrate new features and continue our work on business use cases within the social sector.
